LOCUMS - Petoskey, Michigan OB Hospitalist (Board Certified Required)
Availability / Assignment Details
- Start Date: 08/15/2026
- Coverage End Date: 12/31/2026 (anticipated)
- Coverage Type: Clinic + call coverage (inpatient + outpatient mix)
- Schedule Structure:
- Monday-Friday: 8 hours total coverage daily
- Up to 6 hours clinic
- Remaining time includes night call responsibilities
- Weekend Coverage: 24-hour call coverage
- Patient Volume:
- Outpatient: 6-8 patients/day
- Deliveries: 1.5/day
- Support Staff: 2 Nurse Practitioners
- EMR: Cerner
Clinical Scope / Responsibilities
- Prenatal care
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- VBAC management
- OB call coverage (including emergent deliveries)
- Mixed inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN practice
Requirements
Board Certification
- Board Certified in OB/GYN required
Licensure
- Active Michigan medical license required
- Local candidate required
Experience
- Minimum 2 years OB/GYN clinical experience required
Clinical Skills (Required)
- Full-scope obstetrics including:
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- VBAC management
