Job description


  • Dates: September - Ongoing
  • Coverage: 1-2 weeks per month (Mon-Sun) covering clinic/reads, weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call.
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri: 8a-5p clinic; 5p-8a weeknight call & Sat-Sun: 8a-8a 24-hour weekend call.
  • Procedures: TEE and cardioversions.
  • Typical day: Inpatient rounding, consults, reading images, TEEs, occasional proctoring of stress tests.
  • Support: PA-C assists most mornings.
  • APP/Mid-Level Coverage: Typically 8a-12p
  • AVG # of patients per day: Anywhere from 3 to 10 per day
  • AVG # of consults per day: Typically 5 or 6 new consults
  • Requirements: Active PA license or IMLC, Board Certified, DEA, ACLS, BLS, Minimum 1 year of experience
  • EMR: Epic & Cerner Powerchart
  • Temp privs available
  • Estimated 90 day credentialing
