Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Hi there! This is Jason with ProTouch Medical. Thank you for your potential interest.

We have a client in Central Arizona in need of a Locum Primary Care Physician focused on Geriatrics. (There is no Pediatric population at this facility.)
The coverage needed is Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 7:30-5:30 . ProTouch provides competitive compensation, covers all travel expenses as well as malpractice w/ tail.

Summary: We do NOT have a Pediatric population- High Geriatric Population. Occasional minor procedures i.e: toenail removals, lesion removals, Pap Smears, Joint injections
Outpatient Internal/Family Practice Physicians.
  • Has excellent clinical skills.
  • Is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to patients.
  • Is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona.
  • Is board certified or board eligible in their specialty.
  • Demonstrates a work history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital-based providers, administrators and patients.
  • Demonstrates advanced competency in their specialty.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
  • Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 7:30-5:30
  • Setting: Outpatient Clinic
  • Duties: Family Practice
  • Days per month: 20
  • Required Procedures: toenail removals, lesion removals, Pap Smears, Joint injections. (negotiable)
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Support Staff: Medical Assistant/Triage RN/Front Office Staff/Clinic Manager
  • Reason for Coverage: Provider retirement
Requirements:
  • Board Certified
  • Active AZ License
  • Fellowship
  • BLS, DEA
  • Availability at time of name clear
  • Malpractice - Clean Preferred
