Job description

Hi there! This is Jason with ProTouch Medical. Thank you for your potential interest.

We have a client in Central Colorado in search of a hand-fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon for ongoing/long-term Locum coverage.
This Provider covers 4 shifts/month - someone willing to cover weekends is a plus.

ProTouch provides competitive compensation, covers all travel expenses as well as malpractice w/ tail throughout the duration of the assignment.

 Requirements:
  • Board Certified Orthopedics - or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency).
  • Active CO license - or IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of submission.
  • Orthopedic Surgery Residency
  • Hand Surgery Fellowship - Highly Preferred
  • Candidate must be available for 4 shifts per month
  • Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
  • Clean Malpractice / background - Case by case, must include malpractice explanation or self inquiry NPDB report at name clear.

  • 24 hour call to start Nov 2024
  • 4 days per month, with weekend coverage as a preference.
  • Facility Location: El Paso County, Colorado
  • Setting: Call Trauma Level I
  • FTE: 1
  • Required Procedures/Job Duties: Cover ortho hand call
  • EMR: Epic
  • Support Staff: None
  • Reason for Coverage: Current coverage needs support
