PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Pediatric patients (ENT and Urology)
  • Average Daily Volume: 14 patients/day
  • Case Mix: Pediatric ENT (tonsil, adenoid, otitis media) and Pediatric Urology post-op visits
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 2-3, PA/NPs: 2, Office Staff: 3
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: No
  • Credentialing Timeline: Credentialing with payors required; targeting late August/September 1 start
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC or truly BE
  • Licenses: Licensed in OR
  • DEA: DEA required
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Experience: Experience in ENT required; Urology experience a plus. Preferred skills: flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, foreign body removal, wound assessment, suture removal.
  • Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Epic)
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient clinical care for pediatric ENT patients, including evaluation and management of tonsil, adenoid, and otitis media
  • Perform post-operative visits for pediatric urology patients
  • Conduct wound assessments and suture removal
  • Perform flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, and foreign body removal as needed
  • Document patient encounters in Epic EMR and coordinate care with supervising physicians
