We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardwood Floor Sander & Installer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in transforming people's homes through expert flooring installation, sanding, and restoration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in floor sanding, flooring installation, and related construction trades, bringing energy and precision to every project. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site.
- Prepare a house for work
- Sand hardwood floors using power tools like edgers, cabinet edgers, drum sanders, and buffing machines.
- Stain and coat hardwood flooring using a variety of finishes
- Fix imperfections as needed
- For new installations, remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors
- Measure, cut, and install hardwood flooring
- Ensure precise layout and professional finish
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Communicate clearly with team leads, clients, and customers
Requirements
- 6+ Months of previous hardwood floor sanding, installation and finishing experience preferred
- Must have driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be punctual
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or with a small crew
- Good communication and time management skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
