Mobile Staff Solutions is now hiring a skilled metal welder/fabricator in the Lakeland area. This is a temporary to permanent position!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on various metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Fit and fabricate metal components for conveyor systems
- Measure, cut, and assemble parts to exact specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and drills
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of welding and fabrication experience
- Strong experience with conveyor systems or similar industrial equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in MIG/TIG welding (Stick welding a plus)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
