SRS is partnering with a top-notch law firm to find a sharp, Products Liability Attorney. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex cases, enjoys digging into technical details, and can translate those details into persuasive legal arguments. You'll handle a mix of product liability matters, working with a team that values initiative, collaboration, and courtroom confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a docket of product liability cases from intake through resolution
- Conduct factual investigations, and work with engineering and scientific experts
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs with precision and clarity
- Take and defend depositions, including experts and corporate representatives
- Develop case strategy and participate in settlement negotiations
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression and exceptional client service
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Tennessee (or eligibility for prompt admission)
- 3-7+ years of experience in products liability, complex litigation, or related practice areas
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with technical subject matter
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Trial experience is a plus but not required
