  • Employment Type: TravelGeneral InformationUnit Specifics: Number of Beds : 101 Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds Unit staffing description -Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights Type of equipment : baxter pumps, GE monitors Documentation system: Cerner Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can't commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept. Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED. Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visitHospital Specifics -Certifications: ACLS before starting dateon hireBLS before starting dateon hire -PALS before starting date on hireTNCC before starting date on hireCPI before starting dateon hireNIHSS before starting dateon hireENPC within 90 days of hire -Hiring profileRequested Skill Set: 2 years' experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred. -Must have: 2 years' experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
