Shift: Monday - Friday 7a-5p; AND Weekend NIGHT shift: 14 hours in-house (1700 - 0700), no call, no callback
Position Details:
Patient Population: Mostly Adult (Adult 80%, Trauma 20%)
Setting: Hospital / Operating Room
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services for surgical procedures
- Medical direction of CRNAs/AAs as needed
- Manage acute pain and anesthesia care
- Provide care for trauma patients
- Perform anesthesia for obstetrical, neurosurgical, vascular, and orthopedic cases

- General Anesthesia (Adult & Trauma)
- Acute Pain Management
- Spinal Anesthesia
- Epidural Anesthesia
- Minor Nerve Blocks
- Central Line Placement
- Arterial Line Placement
- Regional Anesthesia
- Obstetrical Cases
- Neurosurgical Cases (Head & Spine)
- Complex Vascular Cases
- Complex Orthopedic Cases
- Local Infiltration
- Ultrasound-Guided Block Placement
- Ventilation Management
- Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/Blood Pressure Issues
- IV Regional Anesthesia
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: CRNAs/AAs and Anesthesiologists on-site
Days Per Month:
- Weekend Day Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday ()
- Weekend Night Shifts: Friday through Monday ()
On-Call/Weekends:
- Weekend coverage required
- No call requirements
- No callback requirements
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Trauma Level I Experience (2 years outside of residency)
- Ability to cover 2 weekends per month
- Ability to perform Central Lines
- Comfortable with Pediatric Cases
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS Certifications
