The Family Law Paralegal plays a vital role in supporting multiple attorneys within a larger paralegal team, focusing exclusively on family law matters such as divorce and separation. This position involves regular client communication and local court appearances to ensure efficient case management and smooth legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal documents related to family law cases
  • Manage case files and maintain detailed records
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather information
  • File documents and motions with the court accurately and timely
  • Maintain calendars and schedule court dates and meetings
  • Provide trial support including organizing exhibits and case materials
  • Assist with billing and time tracking for client cases

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience specializing in family law
