The HVAC Project Manager will lead and oversee HVAC projects across residential and commercial building sectors. This role requires managing project planning, budgeting, and coordinating small to medium teams (1-15 members) to ensure high-quality outcomes. The manager will engage in direct client communications, frequent project site travel, and vendor negotiations. Proficiency with project management tools such as HouseCall Pro is essential to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and contractual standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans and schedules
- Oversee project budgets and control costs
- Coordinate and lead HVAC project teams of varying sizes
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance monitoring throughout projects
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular progress reports
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC project management
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and project scheduling software
- Proven skills in budget management and risk assessment
- Experienced in contract management and negotiation
- Leadership capability managing small to medium-sized teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
