Job Summary:One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for a skilled and experienced
HVAC Technician - Service and Installation to join our team! In this role, you will install, service, or repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
You must have 3+ years of experience (5+ preferred) in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA Section 608 certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with quality and efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities: - Perform semi-skilled and skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Perform maintenance on newer residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards while providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
- Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service and educates customers regarding technical and investment decisions by offering multiple options and solutions while making service calls in customers' homes
- Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
- Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories.
- Oversees the work of Assistant Installation Technician to ensure work is performed correctly, communicates with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction
Qualifications: - Past experience as an HVAC service and Installation technician (min 3+ years, 5+ years preferred)
- Valid Driver's License
- EPA Certification
- Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
