About the Role
Full Moon Builders is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL Bus Driver to transport workers to and from job sites near Baytown, TX. This split-shift position involves consistent morning and evening runs, ideal for experienced drivers supporting contracted energy sector construction projects. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Schedule & Pay
Split Shift: Morning and Evening (exact times provided during interview)
$20/hour or $160/day (flat rate for both shifts)
Paid weekly
Location Requirement
Must live within a 30-minute drive of the Baytown/Mont Belvieu jobsite
Early pickups may be required due to weather or emergency situations
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport workers between designated pick-up points and the jobsite, navigating both paved roads and unpaved terrain
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain bus cleanliness and perform basic upkeep
Follow all traffic and safety laws
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
Qualifications
CDL Class A or B with Passenger ("P") endorsement and Airbrakes
Current DOT physical
Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ability to pass a drug screening
Strong punctuality and reliability
Ability to adapt to schedule changes during emergencies
