We are looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles, ensuring equipment is safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations. Minimum 2 years diesel mechanic experience required. Must bring your own tools. Top pay rate, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and follow service manuals and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- 2+ years proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician
- Must provide your own tools
- Knowledge of diesel engine systems and vehicle components
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and mechanical/electrical systems
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Preferred - ASE Certification or technical school training
- Preferred - CDL
