Job Description:
We are seeking multiple Diesel Technicians positions specializing in diagnosing , repairing, and maintaining tractor-trailers.
Shift/Schedules:
Saturday-Wednesday 8:00 am-5:00 pm (Diagnostics/Mobile) $35-$40/hr
Monday-Friday 08:00 am-5:00 pm (Truck technician) $32-$35
Diagnostics Technician:
- Diagnose: Identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy trucks/trailers Perform repairs (when applicable) promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime, both in the workshop and on-site;
- Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance and light to moderate diesel repairs;
- Mobile: (locally only) Provide on-site maintenance, repairs, and technical support. Communicate effectively to understand equipment issues and provide timely solutions;
- Other duties assigned as needed
Truck Technician:
- Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance and light to moderate diesel repairs;
- Troubleshoot equipment as referred by work orders or verbal directives and determine necessary repairs; perform such work as is feasible and appropriate;
- Other duties assigned as needed
What we'd like to see
- Must own a toolbox and possess required tools
- Completion of a diesel technician program or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle high stress situations
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Valid driver's license, CDL-A preferred but not required
- Positive attitude, safety conscious, good instincts, self-motivated
