Job Title: Welder (MIG) - Steel Fencing
Location: Manchester, CT
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift Full-Time + Overtime as Needed
Employment Type: Temporary
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel fencing components
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or work orders
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials as needed
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and durability
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with general shop duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Experience working with steel materials preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
