Immigration Paralegal
Martins Law Group P.C is seeking an experienced and highly organized Immigration Paralegal to join our growing legal team in Union, New Jersey.
The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with a variety of immigration matters, maintain strong client communication, prepare and file immigration applications and petitions, and ensure compliance with filing deadlines and government requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file family-based immigration petitions and applications.
- Draft forms, supporting documents, affidavits, and correspondence.
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and document collection.
- Maintain case files and monitor deadlines.
- Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and client consultations.
- Coordinate filings with USCIS, EOIR, NVC, and related agencies.
Qualifications:
AT LEAST 5y+ OF EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- Prior immigration paralegal experience preferred.
- Knowledge of USCIS forms and immigration procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
