Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Schedule:

• Patient Contact Hours: 24 hour in-house hospital coverage (The locum is required to be onsite for 24-hour stretches)
• Shifts per month: 6-8 shifts per month
• Shift length: 24 hours (in-house)
• Procedure/OR days: As Needed

• Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes, labor and delivery floor at the Silvis Campus
• Telehealth: No
• Services offered in the practice: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, circumcisions
• Number of Exam Rooms per provider: N/A (Hospital-based coverage only)
• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
• Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 10-15 triages a day plus deliveries
• All OB Triages are to be seen by the physician on call.
• Patient Demographics: Primarily obstetric and gynecologic patients
• EMR: Cerner

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour in house call coverage on the labor & delivery floor, including management of obstetric patients, deliveries, emergency gynecologic cases and inpatient consultations.
