Call is broken into early and late call blocks. Providers only handle one block per shift. This is call for Codes and admissions. The early call block is the lighter of the two.
Early Call is 7:30-1pm
Late Call is 1pm-6pm
If the provider is on late call, they can start their day at 9:30am instead of 8am since they will be on call until 6pm those days
