Clinical Details

  • 100% inpatient
  • Average number of patients per physician per day: 15-18
  • Average patients per hour: 2
  • Hospitalist admits patients with the specialist as a consult
  • Number of ER rooms: 17
  • Number of hospital beds: 81
  • Annual volume: 25,000

Requirements

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible
    • Not accepting Board Certified IM
    • Will accept ABFM boards
    • If ABEM certified only NIHSS is required
    • If FM boarded then ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and BLS are required also
  • DEA
  • Active KY License or IMLC
  • Minimum # years experience: 2
  • CSR
  • Can cover 5-7 day stretches at a time - Preferred
  • Clear background with no malpractice - Preferred
  • Must be able to do the following procedures with supporting logs: Breast Cyst Aspiration, Central Venous pressure catheterization, Endotracheal intubation (20 cases for past 24 months), Lumbar Puncture, Nasal Hemostatic Packing-Placement of Anterior & Posterior, Paracentesis, Suprapubic Bladder Aspiration, Thoracentesis & moderate sedation

Support Staff

  • Single physician coverage w/ APP support 12 hours
