What You ll Do
- Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for gastroenterology services
- Perform procedures including ERCP and other GI-related interventions
- Support hospitalist teams with inpatient GI consultations
- Manage outpatient GI clinics (location less than half a mile from hospital)
- Collaborate with colorectal surgeons and other specialists in the community
- Adhere to practice and hospital protocols for patient care
- Document procedures and patient interactions thoroughly and accurately
What You Need
- Valid Michigan medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology
- ERCP certification is required
- Minimum of X years of GI practice experience preferred
- Strong procedural skills and patient management capabilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work scheduled on-call hours and perform procedures as required
