What You ll Do - Provide general orthopaedic trauma care, including management of wrist, ankle, and hip fractures
- Perform closed reductions and admissions in the emergency department
- Conduct 0-2 surgeries per day, stabilizing long bone trauma and transferring complex cases
- Assist with consults and patient evaluations within the hospital
- Maintain readiness for on-call responsibilities, including managing trauma and emergencies
- Collaborate with hospital staff and adhere to hospital protocols and patient care standards
What You Need - Active NC medical license and NC DEA (location-specific)
- Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Valid NPI number included in application
- Vaccinated against COVID-19
- Minimum of 2+ years of orthopaedic trauma experience
- Ability to respond within 20 minutes of hospital on-call location
- Experience working with Medicaid/Medicare and enrollment with PECOS preferred
