Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour

What You ll Do
  • Provide general orthopaedic trauma care, including management of wrist, ankle, and hip fractures
  • Perform closed reductions and admissions in the emergency department
  • Conduct 0-2 surgeries per day, stabilizing long bone trauma and transferring complex cases
  • Assist with consults and patient evaluations within the hospital
  • Maintain readiness for on-call responsibilities, including managing trauma and emergencies
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and adhere to hospital protocols and patient care standards

What You Need
  • Active NC medical license and NC DEA (location-specific)
  • Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Valid NPI number included in application
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Minimum of 2+ years of orthopaedic trauma experience
  • Ability to respond within 20 minutes of hospital on-call location
  • Experience working with Medicaid/Medicare and enrollment with PECOS preferred
