Job Summary:

Maintain and continually update a strategic plan for the NICU for the highest quality of care for patients in the NICU.
Participate in clinical research as appropriate.
Provide educational support to Residents and Fellows
Ability to function in a Level II NICU
Comfortable managing babies with CPAP and ventilation support
Provide family-centered care.

Requirements:

An MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with active board certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Demonstrated record of supporting patients in aPediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor is preferred.
Demonstrate sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community.
Ability to function in a team environment to support collaboration. Level II NICU as the primary physician
Excellent verbal, written and group presentation skills.
Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date.
Unrestricted DEA certification
