Physician (SNFist)
Location: Pasco/Pinellas County, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician (MD/DO) to provide high-quality care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. This role focuses on managing adult and geriatric patients, ensuring continuity of care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide primary care services to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Conduct routine rounds and patient evaluations (approx. 25-30 patients/day)
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in adult/geriatric populations
• Develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation
• Participate in call rotation schedule (approx. 10:1)
Qualifications:
• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Florida license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Minimum 3 years of experience in adult/family practice
• Experience with geriatric or skilled nursing facility patients preferred
