Hospitalist Physician Opportunity - Brattleboro, VermontSeeking a board-certified/board-eligible Hospitalist Physician to join Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) in Brattleboro, VT Äî a not-for-profit community hospital serving a rural population of approximately 55,000 people across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.Position Details
- Comprehensive inpatient medical care including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
- Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Coordination with specialists, primary care physicians, and ancillary services
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory work
- Emergency response including codes and rapid response
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
- Patient and family education regarding medical conditions and care plans
- No procedures required
- Weekend, holiday, and call schedules: Rotating
- J1-Visa candidates will be considered
Qualifications- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active and unrestricted Vermont state medical license
- Valid Vermont DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Vent management experience required
- Experience running codes required
- 2 Äì3 years of Hospitalist experience preferred
- Rural health experience preferred but not required

Compensation- $300,000 Äì $350,000 annually
