Description Specialization:Pediatric Neurology
Job Summary: Mission Children s is seeking a pediatric neurologist to be part of our innovative pediatric team of subspecialists located in Asheville, North Carolina. We welcome new or experienced physicians wanting to practice meaningful, high-acuity medicine within a collaborative, well-resourced children's hospital.
Qualified Candidates: - BC/BE by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology with Special Qualification in pediatric neurology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
Position Highlights: - Clinic-forward schedule - outpatient clinic focused with some inpatient responsibilities
- Fully staffed multispecialty clinic
- No ED call coverage - IP call only, minimum 10 days/month
- Half admin day on Fridays to promote work-life balance
- EEG on site, radiology located in the same building, and onsite laboratory services
- Manageable patient volume
- Strong support within a comprehensive pediatric subspecialist team, including pediatric hospitalists and intensivists
- Impactful environment - Only children's hospital in Western NC
