What You ll Do
- Provide expert high-risk obstetrical care at multiple hospital locations
- Perform procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage (preferred)
- Manage complex pregnancies including pre-eclampsia, fetal growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, and maternal co-morbidities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ultrasound, genetics, and nursing staff
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (Epic, ViewPoint)
- Support hospital and outpatient obstetrical services in a busy hospital environment
What You Need
Required: - Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Valid medical license in Virginia or eligibility for credentialing
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics and fetal medicine procedures
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
Preferred: - Prior experience in maternal-fetal medicine at a hospital setting
- Ability to manage and supervise procedural care
