What You ll Do:
  • Supervise and lead an interdisciplinary team in providing inpatient rehab care for patients with neurologic diagnoses such as stroke and TBI
  • Lead team conferences and coordinate patient care plans
  • Manage a robust consultation service caring for patients
  • Collaborate closely with APPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare standards and facility protocols

What You Need:
  • North Carolina state medical license (or eligibility)
  • Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (board-certified preferred)
  • Experience working with neurologic rehabilitation in an inpatient setting
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team

This role is based at a leading inpatient rehabilitation hospital affiliated with a major hospital in Wilmington, NC. The facility specializes in neurologic rehabilitation, primarily serving patients recovering from strokes, TBI, and other neurologic conditions. The position offers a weekday schedule with no outpatient responsibilities, providing a balanced work-life environment for qualified professionals committed to patient-centered care.
