Job Description SIHAT Health is working directly with Carle Health in Illinois on a long-term Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiology coverage need.
This is a consistent ongoing assignment designed for physicians looking to build a predictable locums schedule with flexibility and recurring coverage blocks.
This is not a procedure-heavy role. The focus is primarily inpatient medical heart failure management with strong support in place.
Assignment Overview Location: Urbana, IL
Schedule: 1 2 weeks/month ongoing
Start: Approximately 60 days (credentialing)
Clinical Scope - Primarily inpatient advanced heart failure service
- Rounding + consult-focused daily structure
- Managing complex HF patients, many on drips
- Some clinic involvement depending on schedule
- NP support in place
- Teaching environment with fellows/residents involved
- LVAD and transplant patients generally transferred out
Compensation Structure - $375/hour from 8a-5p, which comes out to $3375/day
- Overtime beyond 5p paid at $425/hour
