Job Description:

Job Function:
• Provide full-scope OB/GYN care within a collaborative attending- and midwife-led model.
• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care, managing an average of 14-16 patients per day (up to 20).
• Provide clinical care across multiple ambulatory sites, with a designated primary ("home base") location.
• Manage labor, delivery, and operative cases in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Deliver direct patient care in an environment without resident involvement.
• Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Perform gynecologic evaluations and minor surgical procedures.
• Perform and/or oversee in-office procedures, including:
• IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal.
• LEEP procedures (at designated sites).
• Colposcopies across all sites.
• Office hysteroscopy.
• Endometrial biopsies.
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
- Comfortable with full scope OB/GYN practice.
- Willingness to take shared call within a collaborative team structure.
- Interest in working in an academic leaning, evidence based environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support physician CNM collaboration.
