Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN in Grand Island, NE
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician to provide coverage for a 1:2 practice in Grand Island, Nebraska. This role includes working at a well-established clinic featuring comprehensive women s health services, including labor and delivery, surgery, and supportive on-site staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a clinic setting.
- Manage after-hours call for patients.
- Perform labor and delivery services.
- Conduct gynecologic surgeries as needed.
- Provide city call and backup for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM).
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.
- Collaborate with front desk and clinical support staff to ensure patient care quality.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Completion of an accredited Ob-Gyn residency program.
- Strong clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Ability to perform all standard gynecologic procedures.
- Current certifications in BLS, DEA, and NRP.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Active Nebraska medical license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) credential highly preferred.
- Board certification required for name clearance.
- Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of application.
