Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Job Title: Physician- Part time
Location: Mansfield OH 44905
Shift:2 weekday shifts per week (no evenings, weekends, or holidays).
Hours/week: 16-20 Hours/week
Duration: Minimum 6-month assignment, with potential for permanent hire if mutually agreed.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified physician to provide full-time, on-site primary care services for the male population at Correctional Institute. This role offers a structured schedule, professional collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in correctional healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with intra- and interdepartmental staff to administer patient treatment using nationally recognized standards.
• Document all care and treatment in the electronic health record system.
• Conduct physical examinations, evaluations, and prepare medical reports.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Manage medications and treatment plans.
• Complete reclassifications and other reviews as required.
• Make referrals for specialized care or treatment when indicated.
• Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and ACA standards.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities, including peer reviews.
• Engage in collaborative agreements as needed.
• Maintain a caseload of up to 2.5 patients per hour.
