We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist for a high-paying locum tenens opportunity in New York. This role offers a strong mix of outpatient care, procedures, and inpatient consults, with flexibility in call scheduling and a full-time need due to staffing gaps.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive urology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Perform urologic procedures and surgical interventions as needed
Manage patient consultations, follow-ups, and post-operative care
Conduct inpatient rounding and hospital consults
Collaborate with clinical staff and multidisciplinary teams ️ ️
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR

Start Date: June 1, 2026
Ongoing assignment (26+ weeks)
Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Clinic Hours: Monday Thursday (8:00 AM 5:30 PM)
20 patients per day
Call Schedule: Optional and flexible
24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Qualifications
MD/DO Board Certified in Urology
Active New York medical license (required)
BLS certification required
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Clean and consistent work history required
Practice Details
Acute Care Hospital setting
Level III Trauma Center
Mix of clinic, procedures, rounding, and consults
OR block time: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM (no case limit)
Adult patient population (18+)
Limited robotic surgery availability

Support staff includes LPNs, CMAs, and patient reps
