POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports a pediatric primary care service within an outpatient clinical environment. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive pediatric care, managing scheduled clinic visits, participating in a shared call rotation, and performing newborn rounding when on call. The position includes structured clinic hours with administrative time, options for a four day work week, and service to a diverse pediatric population within a community setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics.
• Residency training in Pediatrics.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in providing pediatric primary care across outpatient and newborn care settings.
• Ability to manage routine and acute pediatric conditions.
• Capacity to participate in call responsibilities within a shared rotation.
• Proficiency in performing circumcisions.
