POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks an emergency medicine physician to join a hospital employed team within a critical access hospital setting. The role includes evaluation and management of a broad range of emergency conditions, participation in a structured shift based schedule, and collaboration with hospitalists and primary care clinicians. The position supports a high quality emergency department serving a seasonal patient population with variable acuity.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Residency training in emergency medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Interest in providing emergency care within a critical access hospital environment.
• Ability to collaborate with hospitalists and primary care clinicians for admissions and pediatric care.
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians may be considered if board eligible or board certified.
