POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a pulmonary medicine specialist to join an established outpatient practice providing comprehensive care for patients with pulmonary conditions. The role includes a structured outpatient schedule without hospital call responsibilities, collaboration with dedicated clinical support staff, and participation in a team based environment. The position supports a single site practice with access to pulmonary function testing, sleep services, and telemedicine options.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Disease.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Fellowship training in pulmonary disease.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Interest in outpatient pulmonary care within a collaborative, community focused environment.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to evaluate and manage a broad range of pulmonary conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Skill in interpreting pulmonary function testing and collaborating with sleep services.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Commitment to patient centered pulmonary care and practice growth.
• Capacity to support cross coverage within the pulmonary team.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Outpatient only pulmonary practice with no hospital call.
