What You ll Do
- Provide advanced nursing care to neurological surgery patients in a hospital setting
- Support incoming neuro cases and assist on-call staff during holiday periods
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with patient assessments, post-op monitoring, and discharge planning
- Document patient interactions accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Support APPs on first call for neurological surgery cases
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
What You Need
Required: - Current North Carolina RN and NP license or eligibility
- Experience in neurological or surgical nursing preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle first-call responsibilities and urgent situations
Preferred: - Prior neuro surgery or acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
