General Surgeon needed in New Mexico
Specialty: Board Certified General Surgeons
Client: Indian Health Service
Location: New Mexico
Commitment: Initial 3-month commitment with ability to extend
Schedule/Shifts Times: Block schedule: (5-10 shifts/month). Clinic hours: Monday Friday, 8a 4:30p (# of days flexible)
Call: available 24/7. Weekday & Weekend call
Patient Volume: 5-9 patients per day average in clinic, number of procedures per day while in surgery 4
Patient Ages: All ages
Types of Cases: Bread & Butter GS, upper and lower endos (No vascular, C-sections, hearts or heads)
Type of Charting: EMR
Requirements: BLS, ACLS (through American Heart), DEA
Credentialing Timeframe: 8 weeks on average
Additional Info: any State License
