What You'll Do
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop care plans for diverse surgical cases
- Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care safely and effectively
- Monitor patients during procedures, managing anesthesia complications as needed
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital and regulatory standards, transitioning to Epic documentation in June 2026
- Support a team supervised by one MDA to four CRNAs in a hospital setting with 11 ORs
- Participate in outpatient procedures across departments including cardiology, OB, endoscopy, and radiology
What You Need
- Required:
- Current RN license and NBCRNA certification
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Masters or Doctorate)
- Certification in BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred
- Board Certified (AANA)
- Experience in general surgical, obstetrical, and neurosurgical cases
- Preferred:
- Experience with arterial line insertions, IV starts, and floor intubations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a Level 3 trauma environment with minimal pediatric cases

The anesthesia team provides care for approximately 35 surgical cases daily, with opportunities to support various specialty procedures including trauma, neurology, and obstetrics.
