ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a collaborative, physician-led neonatal team within a modern Level III NICU in Carrollton, Georgia. This permanent, full-time opportunity offers a balanced home-call schedule, strong support from Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, and the chance to practice in a renovated facility within a nationally recognized healthcare system located just outside Atlanta.

- Requires residence within the immediate Carrollton area; relocation may be required

Job Details / Responsibilities
- Provide neonatology coverage for a Level III NICU with:
- 10 NICU beds
- Approximately 1,000 annual births
- Deliver care in a 20-bed newborn unit
- Perform daily NICU and newborn rounding
- Manage critically ill and premature infants
- Provide neonatal admissions, stabilization, and ongoing management
- Collaborate closely with:
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
- Nursing staff
- Multidisciplinary care teams
- Participate in a team-based neonatal care environment with daily NNP support
- Maintain high-quality, evidence-based neonatal care standards
- Practice in a renovated, state-of-the-art facility within a respected health system
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain
- Completion of Neonatology training/fellowship required
- Neonatology experience required; experienced candidates only
- Clean malpractice and license history strongly preferred
- DEA required prior to start date
- NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days required at presentation
- Must specify whether visa sponsorship is required (J1/H1B), though visa candidates are not being accepted
