We are seeking a Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team at a premier health center in Brownstown Charter Township, Michigan. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for patients in an inpatient setting as well as across multiple clinic locations.
- Conduct preoperative assessments, reviewing medical history, evaluating patient risk factors, and preparing anesthesia plans.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
- Administer anesthesia during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and manage patients intraoperatively, including vital signs, anesthesia depth, and response to interventions.
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery, pain control, and immediate postoperative care.
- Participate in a rotating schedule, including full-time day shifts, on-call coverage, and weekends.
- Travel to multiple locations as required to provide anesthesia services across the health system.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Support department staffing coverage needs, particularly during shortages.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, CRNA license, RN license).
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) REQUIRED
- Active Michigan RN License (must have in hand at time of presentation, no exceptions) REQUIRED
- BLS and ACLS Certification REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and licensing history REQUIRED
- Years of CRNA work experience (not including RN or training) REQUIRED
- Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and on-call REQUIRED
- Visa Status Specify (H1B and J1 accepted) REQUIRED
- DEA must be obtained prior to start REQUIRED
- CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start REQUIRED
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Clean malpractice and licensing history
- Must meet hospital credentialing requirements ( days)
- All certifications and licenses must be active at the time of presentation.
