Leading Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible
Pediatric Radiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity. This role offers flexible
remote or onsite coverage , with a strong focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging in a specialized pediatric setting.
Schedule & Coverage - Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Call: Shared rotation (1 week in 5); rarely called in
- Commitment: Full-time required (5 days/week)
- Start Date: ASAP ongoing assignment
Practice Details - Pediatric-focused radiology department
- Approx. 45,000 imaging exams annually
- Case Mix: 80% musculoskeletal imaging
- No emergency room coverage required
- Modern imaging technology and systems, including:
- EMR: Epic (Hyperspace)
- PACS: Sectra IDS7
- Advanced MRI, ultrasound, and digital radiography systems
Key Responsibilities - Interpret pediatric imaging studies with a focus on MSK imaging
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Participate in rotating call schedule
- Optional involvement in MSK procedures/interventions
Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or MSK Radiology (required)
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric radiology experience
- Active Texas license or eligibility via IMLC
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
