Required Qualifications Emergency Medicine Physician
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted Texas medical license (required for Texas physician jobs)
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care
- Board certification not required
- Ability to complete a short credentialing packet upon arrival
Key Responsibilities ER Doctor / Emergency Physician
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in the ED
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and urgent medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient ED flow
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the medical record
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain continuity of care with the care team
