Assignment Details -
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours only.
- Clinic Coverage: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- 4 Days per week availability required
- Minimum 6 month initial commitment required
- Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
- EMR System: EPIC
- Patients Per Day (Outpatient): 25
- Patients Per Day (Inpatient/Rounding): 20
- Number of Beds: 245
- Clinical Area: Outpatient & Inpatient Oncology
- Coverage includes inpatient rounding on weekends when on call
- 65% Benign Hematology / 35% Malignant Oncology
- Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider
Provider Requirements -
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
- Active SC License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
- BLS & DEA required
- Clean background required for Emergency Temps
- Self-Query NPDB report required at presentation (within 30 days)
- Must be comfortable with inpatient coverage
- Candidates must be willing to treat more than 12 patients per day

Administration of Chemotherapy handled by Nurse Oncologist
Required Duties include:
- Participation in Tumor Board
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
- Blood Bank
- Ordering Tests & Imaging
- Prescribing medications
