Cardiology - Electrophysiology Physician

Locums - Petoskey, Michigan, Electrophysiology Opening

Location: Petoskey, MichiganStart Date: ASAPContract Length: Ongoing

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Daily onsite coverage
• Coverage needed 3 weeks per month but will accept providers who can do 1 week a month
• No night call
• No weekend call

Practice Setting

• Clinic and Cath Lab
• Outpatient and procedural Electrophysiology practice

Patient Volume

• Approximately 20 outpatient clinic patients per day
• 2 full Electrophysiology lab days per week

Support Staff

• Full clinic support
• Advanced Practice Provider support

Responsibilities

• Electrophysiology clinic coverage
• Cath Lab procedures
• Management of cardiac rhythm disorders
• Electrophysiology consultations and follow-up care

Procedures & Skills Required

• EP studies
• Cardiac ablations (AFib, SVT, VT, etc.)
• Pacemaker implantation
• ICD implantation
• CRT device implantation
• Device checks and management

EMR

• Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified in Electrophysiology
• Active Michigan License Required at time of name clear
• Local Provider Required
• COVID Vaccination Required
• DEA Required (verbal confirmation at name clear)
