Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
  • Call: Beeper, 30-minute response time

  • EMR System: Athena / Medhost
  • Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient
  • Patients Per Shift: 15
  • Rounding: Assigned patients
  • Support Staff: MA: 2, PA/NPs: 1, Office Staff: 1
  • Beds: 2
  • Trauma Level: 3
  • Call:
    • 1:1 ratio
    • 6-8 phone consults (only 1-2 need immediate response)
    • 1-2 admissions
    • 20% callback

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Licensed in Texas or IMLC
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
  • Fellowship preferred
